The Chapel in the Valley

Worship Band—4U

The Worship Band, called 4U, meets every week for fellowship and to praise God.

The Band regularly leads the Sunday morning meetings at the Chapel in the Valley and travels to other venues around the country, to lead special times of worship.

4U at the Church on the Rock in Birmingham, sharing worship leading with the Church on the Rock band.

The Band comprises:

Two singers

Three rhythm guitar

A violin

A full drum set

 

The music that the Band plays is very varied and usually very up to date. Currently, the Band is influenced by the Gaelic style of Christian musicians like Robin Mark, but is happy to play all modern pieces that reflect God's glory in music and words.

 

The Band's leader, Helen Pardoe, links the music by prayers and readings, which means that the Band can complement a meeting or lead the meeting themselves.
